Clothing
as architecture.
Limited-run, architecturally cut ready-to-wear from Via Solferino 23. Made by hand in our Milan atelier in runs of 300 or fewer — never more.
We do not chase seasons.
We release numbers.
Every Elena Stral garment begins on the cutting table in Milan, drawn by hand, fitted three times, and produced in a finite run. No style returns next year under a different name. No piece is restocked once its number — 087 of 300 — is spoken for.
We design for women who treat clothing as a form of self-definition. Each release is a deliberate offering: cut once, signed off once, numbered once, and then closed. What you wear from us is, by definition, irreplaceable.
The Numbered Collection
Six pieces from Vol. XI shown above. The release numbers above correspond to the run of each style — every garment is hand-finished and signed inside.

Recipient of the 2022 Who Is On Next? Italia award for emerging ready-to-wear.
Twenty-two hands.
One cutting table.
Via Solferino 23.
Our atelier and showroom sit on Via Solferino 23 in Milan, opened in 2017. Seven in-house pattern-cutters and tailors cut every Elena Stral garment by hand, in fabric drawn from Italian and Japanese mills.
Annual production is capped at 8,400 pieces to protect what we make — and to protect what we will not. Nothing is subcontracted. Nothing is rushed.

Chapter 01
Consultation
Day 1 — 2. In atelier or by appointment. We listen, we measure, we sketch. Your silhouette, your occasion, your archive of references.
-
Chapter 02
Pattern
Day 3 — 6. Hand-drafted on paper by one of our seven in-house pattern-cutters. Cloth is cut only once the pattern is signed off.
-
Chapter 03
Fitting
Day 7 — 11. A first toile is fitted on you. Adjustments are marked directly on the cloth. A second fitting confirms the line.
-
Chapter 04
Delivery
Day 12 — 14. Final garment is hand-finished, pressed and signed inside. Delivered to your door, or collected from Via Solferino 23.
“I spent eighteen years cutting for other houses. Elena Stral exists so that I — and the seven cutters who stand beside me — can decide, for once, how many is enough. The answer, every season, is the same number: a little less than we could sell.”
